We're getting there
Still learning the in’s & out’s of this blogging thing so please be patient with me. In spite of everything; I will figure it out as I go along. My plan is to blog at least once a month, but try to do it every fifteen days, the 1st and 15th of every month.
Thursday, October 29, 2009 we went to Warsaw, Indiana to see our good friends, Dave and Claire and had lunch at a Mexican restaurant with them. They are heading down to the Valley (southern part of Texas) on December 19th. We are still waiting around for our moving home which is stationary at this time. Traveling back to the Ft. Wayne area, we called Bonnie (a longtime friend of Rhonda’s from International Harvester) to see if it would be okay to stop by and see her. Rhonda still had to give Bonnie a few more lessons on Swedish Weaving and I still had a World Series game to watch on her big screen TV. Before we could get back in town, Lester the Amish gentleman called to see if we could stop by to see him. He was having a little trouble figuring out how to mount our new big-screen TV. Once we arrived, Lester and his dad, Samuel met us at the motor home. After much discussion and statements in our brainstorming session such as, “What if?” or “What about if we try this?” we did come to a consensus about one of Rhonda’s ideas concerning mounting the TV. With everyone happy with the problem solved, Lester took us into his workshop to show us what he had completed so far.
WOW!
What he showed us was so impressive. We can’t wait to see it installed and completed. Here are pictures of what he had in the workshop, not yet installed, and a picture of Rhonda giving her lesson on Swedish Weaving to Bonnie at her house.
